Networked Optical Data Equipment

NODE

Spectrum silent tactical data transport

A portable tactical network bridge that carries standard Ethernet data over lightweight optical fiber instead of a wireless link between positions.

NODE Mission

Increase warfighter survivability.

EMS noise discipline is survivability.

NODE moves mission traffic through a contained optical path, helping teams separate people from emitters while preserving their digital workflows.

Keep the warfighter connected without making the warfighter easier to find.

Surface Positions

Dismounted teams, observation posts, and mobile command elements.

Urban Terrain

Buildings, streets, windows, rooftops, and hard cover.

Subterranean Routes

Tunnels, facilities, culverts, and covered approaches.

Maritime And Underwater

Littoral, pier, vessel, diver, and cable supported paths.

Remote Sensors

Passive sensing, cameras, unattended systems, and perimeter feeds.

Displaced Backhaul

Separated radios, SATCOM, MANET, and network access points.

Modular Topology

Build your network.

Optical transport between compatible user devices, sensors, command systems, and available backhaul.

User device connects to a local NODE, optical fiber, a remote NODE, and a rugged computer. Starlink, SATCOM, and MANET are separate backhaul options connected to the computer, not a series chain.

Field Validation

Demonstrated beyond 10 kilometers.

The test distance was limited by the fiber available, not an observed link failure. Distances beyond this event have not yet been validated.

10 plus km

Reliable single strand optical field link across the longest cable available for the event.

80 Mbps

Observed internet backhaul returned through the fielded link from displaced backhaul equipment.

Zero RF

No RF emission was produced by the optical fiber segment between NODE endpoints.

Successful transport

PLI, CoT, text, imagery, files, recorded and live video, mission data packages, and internet backhaul.

Operator Integration

Designed around the operator.

NODE fits the way operators already move, carry, and communicate.

The operator pictured is equipped with NODE, integrated into a standard loadout and connected to the end user device workflow.

Field feedback continues to shape enclosure, power, interface, and endurance improvements.
